How do I add the widget to my Home Screen?

Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen until the apps jiggle, then tap Edit > Add Widget (or the + button, depending on your iOS version). Search for Uplit, choose a size and tap Add Widget.

And to my Lock Screen?

Touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then Lock Screen. Tap the area under the time, choose Uplit, then tap Done.

How do I see the next affirmation?

Tap the arrow on the Home Screen widget. You can also choose how often the widget changes in Uplit’s Settings. iOS decides the exact moment a widget refreshes, so it may lag by a few minutes.

My reminders don’t arrive.

Check Settings > Notifications > Uplit on your iPhone and make sure notifications are allowed. A Focus mode can also hold them back. Then open Uplit and check your reminder times in its Settings.

How do I change the voice that reads aloud?

Uplit uses the voices built into your iPhone. You can download more natural ones in Settings > Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices.

Do I need an account?

No. Uplit works without one, with no sign-up before you see the app. An account, with Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, is only needed if you want Lumi to write affirmations for you. It also keeps your profile if you change phones.

What does Lumi do with what I write?

To write your five affirmations, your profile (without your first name) and the words you share about your day are sent to Anthropic, whose AI model, Claude, writes the text. Our server does not keep what you write about your day, nor the affirmations Lumi writes: the ones you keep are saved only on your iPhone, in My affirmations. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do I delete my account?

In Uplit, go to Settings > Account > Delete my account. Your account and profile are erased from our server right away, and your Sign in with Apple authorization is revoked. Affirmations saved on your iPhone stay. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: manage it in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Are my favorites and affirmations backed up?

Your favorites and your own affirmations stay on your iPhone only, with no cloud sync, so they are not transferred to another device. If you have an account, your profile follows it: sign in on your new iPhone and Lumi knows you again. See the privacy policy.

I changed iPhones. How do I restore my purchases?

Open Uplit, go to Settings > Restore purchases, using the same Apple Account as before. How purchases work is described in the terms of use.
